ISO 31000:2018 Recertification

This course enables participants already certified risk management professionals (Foundations level) to update their knowledge with the 2018 version of the international ISO 31000 risk management standard published in February 2018.

In this intensive 3 hour course, participants can debate the changes proposed in the 2018 version based on their experience of using the previous version of ISO 31000 risk management standard as they are all already familiar with the vocabulary, principles, framework and the risk management process.

The course is followed by a quick 30 mins exam with 20 questions focusing on the changes between the 2009 and the 2018 version.

Holding a Msc in Chemical engineering, a degree Business Administration and a post-master in Risk Management, he has worked in the last 25 years on many aspects of risk management: industrial risk management, loss prevention, natural disaster risk management, business impact analysis, business interruption, business continuity management, standards and regulations. Today, Alex is a recognized as the founder of the G31000 Risk Institute and active owner/moderator of the LinkedIn group which has reached 94,000+ members.
As part of the international ISO Technical Committee TC262 representing France, he is one of the active authors of the original version of the ISO 31000:2009 standard.
He is an invited professor in several universities and institutes, trainer for workshops and writing articles on ISO 31000.
