ISO 31000:2018 Recertification

This course enables participants already certified risk management professionals (Foundations level) to update their knowledge with the 2018 version of the international ISO 31000 risk management standard published in February 2018.

In this intensive 3 hour course, participants can debate the changes proposed in the 2018 version based on their experience of using the previous version of ISO 31000 risk management standard as they are all already familiar with the vocabulary, principles, framework and the risk management process.

The course is followed by a quick 30 mins exam with 20 questions focusing on the changes between the 2009 and the 2018 version.

About The Trainer

Angel Escorial

Angel is CEO of Riskia since its constitution in 2002. He is Master in Civil Engineering and BSc in Physics. Another accreditations of Angel are: Specialist in Foreign Trade, CFPA in fire protection, CT31000 and Alarys graduate in Risk Management.

His career began in nuclear power plants engineering in the U.S. and Spain. Angel joined the ‘world of risks and insurance’ in an industrial insurance broker for 6 years and developing consultancy services on risks for an outstanding reinsurance owned firm for 9 years till 11S.

Since then, Angel manages Riskia and its subsidiaries in Europe, Africa and the Americas, and monitors the projects in Risk Management, Safety, Security and Environment that Riskia develops for Organizations with or without MS.

He counts on significant experience in the direction of multidisciplinary consultancy projects and works of decontamination after fire, flood or chemical spill. During his over 30 year professional career, he has managed hundreds of projects in these fields.

Angel is member of CICCP, AGERS and ‘Ateneo de Madrid’ and participates in international forums of risk professionals like APEGRI, where he is president, and ISO’s TC262 as head of Spanish Delegation since 2011 where he takes part as expert in Risk Management of the UNE mirror committee CTN307. He also proposed the draft to the STTF for the first unified translation of ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management into Spanish. Angel is too G31000 Vice President and partner for Spanish speaking countries.

He is speaker in Conferences, Trainings and Seminars in Risk Management, Safety, Security, Environment and Insurance.
